The breeding team is pleased to invite you to a weekend packed with activities that will offer something to riders and spectators alike.
You can find all the relevant information and documents here, which includes entry forms to the Gæðingakeppni and Timed Run events as well as information about the different Breeding assessments on offer.

We would however like to draw your attention to 3 new offers:

This year there will be a Have-a-go Gæðingakeppni event on Saturday, where you will receive tips and instructions from our judges about your performance. We will now also offer a Gæðingakeppni C-Flokkur test for novice/intermediate horse/rider combinations without the requirement to show fast tölt or pace. Finally, for all those who would like to watch and learn, you can participate in a Seminar that will run alongside the show. There is a nominal charge of £10 (£5/day) to take part and in turn the judges will explain their judging, give a breeding presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session, Gæðingakeppni riding tips, etc. – payment for the seminar will be collected on Saturday morning before we start so there is no need to pay in advance.

We will also offer catering on Saturday and Sunday during the day.

Intended timetable (subject to change – an accurate timetable will be published closer to the event when we have exact numbers of participants):
Friday evening: joint meeting with judges, possibly health check breeding horses and measuring
Saturday: joint meeting with judges, conformation FIZO, 1st ridden assessment FIZO horses, YHA, Have-a-go Gæðingakeppni, Price giving YHA, Breeding presentation in the evening with Questions-and-Answers
Sunday: 2nd ridden assessment, Gæðingakeppni and Timed Runs, Price giving FIZO assessment horses.

We look forward to seeing you and your horse/s in October!
