2020 has been a time of extremes. Times of despair, frustration and disappointment living side by side with times of pride, heroism and hope. Times of deep grief and separation giving birth to a culture of comfort and community.  These have been the conditions we have all lived under and therefore, we would like to sincerely thank all those members who have encouraged and supported the often-frustrated attempts at competition and riding development this year. The Education Programme, the Judge Training and Qualification Programme, TÖLT-online and the Summer Show have all been maintained and supported which has enabled the continuing development of our members and their horses.   It would have been easy to say that it was too hard but we didn’t.

So, we are ready and able to continue in 2021. The Winter TÖLT-online competition is in full swing and we have started to organise the Summer Show. FEIF are working on the World Championships and all countries will again be sending their teams.  There really is plenty to work towards, no matter what your aspirations are, and remember as announced at the AGM, if you want to be considered for a place in the GB Team, please let me know by 31st December, and we can discuss selection criteria and start to plan and work together in January, with final selections taking place at the British Championships, confirmed in June at Aston le Walls.  See website for more details here.
