Announcement 15th December 2020:
The Icelandic Horse Society of Great Britain are pleased to receive confirmation from DEFRA (See here) that we have been listed as a 3rd Country breeding body by the EU. A big thank you to Freija and Ellen of the Studbook team who have patiently filled out many DEFRA forms for approx 3 years… but at last we have a good result!
It is important to note that future imports and export rules are still under negotiations. As soon as the rules have been agreed, we will publish a link to the government website which will then state all the details.
