Welcome to Lauren Doughton who will be Sleipnir’s first IHSGB Guest Editor, with the support of our Shetland IHSGB members who have Icelandic Horses at our furthest north GB location.

The late Summer edition led by Shetland needs articles and contributions from you all by 14th August to newsletter@ihsgb.co.uk . What can you contribute? Anything Icelandic focussed that our new, and older members would be interested in. Our oldest members no longer ride or own horses but  enjoy reading about your experiences, rides and thoughts. What lightbulb moments have you had? A small paragraph is enough. Your experiences of importing your first horse or buying your UK horse. Building your relationship with your horse. Exercises that help you with your gaits. Why did you choose the Icelandic Horse as your friend or partner?
