The FEIF Conference in February has two important key themes on the agenda.

We are already increasing our attention to horse welfare within the IHSGB, and the first meeting of the new Welfare Group will take place in January, to discuss what else the Society can do to promote this aim.

We have solid Safeguarding policies in place, but this needs to be kept under regular review, and the issue of harassment is also something we need to be prepared to deal with effectively (in the hope that we never have to!)

The Board has selected two Trustees, Torben Rees and Ellen Brimble as our delegates to the conference. Some pre-meetings will take virtually in January.
