The first day was filled with expectations: the organisers in Switzerland expecting the arrival of the participants and their horses, the Team Leaders waiting to meet their team members with whom they will spend a lot of time over the next few days, the Country Leaders wondering and hoping that all participants will arrive at the venue, and all horses pass the Vet check, the wonderful group of volunteers, ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed, and everyone – just waiting to finally get going. And get going we will with an fun- and action-filled programme over the next 6 days which will forge the strangers who met today for the first time into firm friends by the end of the week.
