Day three was filled with continuous training and an overall calm atmosphere and absolute focus persevered – calm and focus until the evening that is. To the clapping of thunder all around and echoing from the mountains, the party started with the traditional country evening – each participating nation introduced their traditions, quirkiness and favourite snacks.
This included cheerleading from the Netherlands, karaoke from Iceland, proof that Ikea does as it says on the package from Sweden (you can assemble a table in 3 minutes), a carnival dance-along initiated by Germany and of course a good show of Edelweiß. More “work” to come, but as people get to know each other better, the mood lightens, and spirits are rising.
