The FEIF Delegates Assembly 2026 took place online on January 27, 2026 with delegates from 19 out of 23 FEIF member countries.

Inge Kringeland did not stand for re-election and the delegates elected Lena Johanna Reiher from Germany as the FEIF Director of Breeding.  Mark Timmerman was re-elected as FEIF Director of Education.

Konrad Walter, was relected as member of the Arbitration Council (for 3 years), Claudia Glück-Ragnarsson as member of the Disciplinary Board (for 3 years) and the delegates also confirmed the state authorized accountant for the current year.

The FEIF Delegates’ Assembly 2026 resolved to exclude DRIKS, the Slovenian Icelandic Horse Association, from any form of membership of FEIF.
