Horses have a calm, patient and powerful presence.
Just above Risca it was a pleasure to meet Peter Heathcote and one of his beautiful Icelandic horses.
The horses have a therapeutic benefit. Peter gives up his time to work with children and adults who are neurodivergent, those who have experienced abuse and survivors of cancer and heart disease, inviting them to spend time with the horses. The feedback from people shows what a difference it can make. Good to be joined by local Councillor Philippa Leonard
