Are you between 18 – 26 years old and want to become active in international work related to the Icelandic horse? We are now accepting applications for this years young committee member seats. In FEIF our goal is to unite generations and further develop our sport for a bright future.
Every year, the FEIF Youth Committee invites applications from young people who are interested in joining one of FEIF’s technical departments. In agreement with the FEIF Board, the Youth Committee selects candidates for the available positions.
This year, applications are being invited for positions within the Education and Youth department.
The position gives the young people the same voting rights and responsibilities as those of other committee members. The only difference is that this place on the committee is fixed term and reserved for a young person. Once appointed, the young committee member may serve a maximum of 2 years, regardless of age, after which time YCM will have to stand down (but are free to put offer themselves for re-election).
