The FEIF Breeding Committee and Breeding Judges Committee had good and constructive discussions that based on a varied agenda.

After completing the proposals for the Delegates´ Assembly in 2027, new topics and proposals were discussed and finalized to be presented at the annual meeting of the national breeding leaders.

Among the discussion points were subjects like reproductive technologies in the icelandic horse breed, hooflength and the equipment of horses shown at breeding shows, the health control after the riding abilities and the requiments for new breeding judges.

The Worldchampionship 2027 is in good preparation and some organizational matters as well as fundamental changes for breeding horses at a WC were discussed.

A joint meeting with the sport committee and sport judges committee regarding horse welfare subjects as well as a joint meeting with the youth committee about the young breeding horse trainer seminar were of big value and brought up important discussions.
