FEIF Leisure Riding Committee Meeting in Sweden
On 10th to 11th of October 2026, the FEIF Leisure Riding Committee met in Sweden. It was a great chance to sit down together face to face. In a series of focused and productive meetings, we worked on new ideas for leisure riding in the FEIF world, and we are excited about what’s ahead. Among other things, we planned a photo competition for all Icelandic horse lovers. We also discussed the Relay Ride’s border crossing and meetups for leisure riders at the World Championships. Another topic was how to make FEIF and the Icelandic horse more visible to the public, as well as safety and volunteering in our community. Between the meetings, we cleared our heads in the Swedish forests, following the tracks of the moose. We left Sweden full of new ideas.
