Becca Hughes has decided to stand down as Sport Trustee, as she has recently secured a new job and needs to focus on this and her associated studies. Becca has done an excellent job in the role and the other Trustees are sorry to see her leave the Board, but wish her all the best in her new career.

At the Board meeting this evening the Trustees agreed to co-opt Torben Rees, an existing member of the Sport Group to cover the role of Sport Trustee until the Annual General meeting in November. Therefore, in addition to the positions of Breeding Trustee and Communications Trustee, as notified in the last edition of Sleipnir, nominations will also be sought for Sport Trustee when the AGM documents are issued.

Becca has agreed to remain on the Sport Group, and will be joined by Fi Pugh. Currently the Sport Group consists of Torben, Becca, Fi and Andrew.  You can continue to direct queries on sport matters to sport@ihsgb.co.uk – but please allow a little time for responses as Torben ‘picks up the reins’. (Sorry, couldn’t resist )
