The Icelandic Horse Society of Great Britain (IHSGB) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at The Green Man in Fownhope, Herefordshire. Members attended the meeting in person and via Zoom.

Members Survey
Jemimah Adams presented the results of the recent Members Survey. The survey found that members are generally satisfied with the Society’s activities, but there are some areas where some members would like to see improvements. The Trustees are committed to addressing these concerns.
Regionalisation of Society Activities
Freija Glansdorp presented the Trustees’ ideas for regionalizing Society activities. The Trustees are considering how to better support the needs of members in different parts of the country.
Leadership Changes
Catherine Holland stepped down as Chair of the Society. The Society would like to thank Catherine for her hard work and dedication. Peter Heathcote was elected as the new Chair of the Society. Jemimah Adams was re-elected as Education Trustee. Fi Pugh joined the board as the new Sport Leader.
Open Forum
An Open Forum was held to give members an opportunity to ask questions and raise concerns. The Trustees value feedback from members and are committed to working together to make the Society even better.
