Landsmót 2026 will be held at Hólar in Hjaltadal, Skagafjörður, July 5–12, 2026. This will be the 26th Landsmót since the event was first established. Landsmót is one of the largest and most significant events in the world of the Icelandic horse, attracting around 7-8,000 visitors and featuring over 1,000 horses.

For decades, Landsmót has been the meeting place in Iceland where riders and enthusiasts of the Icelandic horse come together to celebrate the power, beauty, and versatility of the breed, while also enjoying a rich cultural and entertainment program.
