What is a Have-a-go show?
You ride your test (same as in a competition) and receive marks/comments for improvement afterwards. Instead of finals, you can ride the test again, trying to improve your mark following Tom’s comments. There is no winner, you are trying to improve your scores.
Young Horse assessment
Your horse will be judged for general conformation, keeping in mind that it is not yet fully grown. We will then let the horse run free in a fenced off area and the judge will mark its gait ability.
Conformation judgement
Your horse’s conformation will be judged and Tom will give valuable feedback. Suitable for all horses 5 years and older. Very interesting for any ridden horse, as Tom will point out the effects of conformation and rideability, with tips for improvements through training.
