FEIF Education Committee meeting
This year’s Education Committee meeting was held in the old west part of Frankfurt, Höchst close to the river Main. Nicole Kempf participated online as she could not manage to come over from the USA. On Saturday morning the new young committee member Tabea Ternus also joined in online from Iceland for a round of introduction and participation in her first meeting with the committee.
The recently held education seminar in Skagafjördur, (Iceland, September 2026) was evaluated as very successful. With 120 participants alle available seats were filled.
New developments in several countries were exchanged.
Lutz Lesener was joining the Friday afternoon meeting and ideas and possibilities were discussed as to make the EC-page, the new Matrix and the Trainer list more visible and more directly accessible on the website.
The concept matrix was finalized into the definitive version to be presented at the FEIF Conference in January 2027. The feedback from different countries on the former concept version was incorporated in this version.
In a combined meeting with the Youth Committee, the preview on the coming trainer seminar (October 2027, Germany) was shared. Both committees contribute to the organization of this seminar.
The committee looks back on a very fruitful and productive meeting in a nice and relaxed atmosphere, also supported by the comfortable surroundings and service of the meeting’s hotel.
