Starting Wednesday 15th April at 8pm the  IHSGB is offering a third series weekly judge training online meetings, running for 8 weeks. Open to anyone who completed judge training phase 1; you do not need to have completed phase 2 to participate.

The Covid-19 lockdown has stopped all live sporting events, including Icelandic horse competitions; so there may be no chance to get practical experience at competitions this year.

In phase 3 we’ll be working on consolidating the judging of performances and also look at :

• Equipment check, kit, filling in the vet form
• Writing comments for:
  • Classes – T1, T7, T2, V1 and F1
  • Gaits – tölt, walk, trot and canter
• Pace events
• Head judge tasks
