Head into Risca on the B4591 and turn off at the Spar into Dan Y Graig Road, the Railway Tavern will be on your right. Follow the road under the bypass and the road bends to the right, follow it past the brick works and up the single-track lane. Keep going past a derelict house on your left keep going. At the end of the lane you will meet a dead end in front of you and a road to the left, head up this road and parking will be in the field to your left at the top of the road.
ARRIVING TIMES
We ask that you arrive from 11am Friday (or earlier by prior arrangement) onwards. Parking: We will be parking in the 4-acre field at the top of the lane opposite our house. Please ring when you get to the gates before parking on 07703965735
TIME SCHEDULE
You will have a 45 minute private lesson on Saturday and Sunday. Time slots will be provided and we would ask that you are ready to enter the arena at your designated time. A (rough) time schedule will be available before the event. Arena: The event will take place in a 40×20 arena with an all-weather surface. Side gate: Code displayed in annexe on white board Please close the gate after entry for security.
FACILITIES
We have an annexe that will be open 24 hours a day with a hot shower; toilet; microwave; fridge freezer; WIFI; tea and coffee with milk will be provided. (If you would like decaf, herbal etc please bring these with you)
Plug sockets are available in the annexe for charging phones etc. Please bring reusable cups. Please note that the toilet is a saniflow system which restricts what can be put down it! Please do not put sanitary products in it (bags are provide)
Camping: We have an enclosed small paddock that has proved suitable as a camping spot close to the toilets etc. If you would like to choose a different spot that is no problem.
Horse area (alternative field may be used depending on grass and weather): We have a four-acre field for the electric fences to be set up for your horses.
Poo trailer: There will be a poo trailer in the field where the horses are located. There will be another one where people are tacking up.
Tacking up location will be shown on arrival.
Please bring your own fencing, posts and energiser system.
FOOD ARRANGEMENTS
Friday Take away: Indian food will be ordered for delivery at 7.30pm if that suits everyone. There will be a menu and list for you to place details of what you would like in the Annexe. This is not included in the cost of the weekend.
Lunch: There is a fridge/freezer and microwave for your use. We are not organising lunches at this
event.
Saturday evening: Saturday evening we are heading to Junction 28 restaurant for private dining starting at 20.00, this is not included in the price of the event. Meal costs £24.95 set price with menu options. (prices correct at time of print and subject to change)
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Taking part in this event is at everyone’s own risk. It is required by the IHSGB that you have some form of personal insurance such as BHS Gold or similar. Please ride carefully and courteously at all times.
PASSPORTS AND VACCINATIONS
Please make sure you bring your horse passports with you – it is a legal requirement to do so. You will be required to show your horses’ passports on arrival. Please show care and attention at all times to minimise exposure between horses. If you do not have your horse’s passport, you will be asked to leave the premises.

Weather: As its Wales the chance of rain is always high, please bring waterproofs!
Shops / Fuel: There is a 24 hour Tesco in Risca, a Spar and various stores that will be open Saturday.
